Marge McShane and Sergei Nirenburg gave a tutorial on ontological semantics and the semantic web at the EUROLAN Summer School in Bucharest, Romania.

Marge McShane presented the paper about ontological semantics in information extraction at the Workshop on Reference Resolution associated with the EUROLAN Summer School.

Marge McShane and Sergei Nirenburg traveled to University of Colorado for talks about joint research with colleagues at the Center for Speech and Language Research there.
